SUMMARY:Dawn Chorus Bird Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an early morning walk through the woodland to learn about bird calls and see which species have made Wellesley its home. \nWe invite you to experience the enchanting chorus of birdsong\, during this 1.5 hour walk through Wellesley Woodlands. \n\n\n\n\n\nWe hope to hear the distinctive and varied calls of the song thrush\, along with confident calls from robins\, blackbirds and chaffinches. Amongst the cacophony of bird noise we might hear the melodic chiffchaff and even perhaps the blackcap which are summer migrants to the UK. \n\n\n\nThis event is for anyone who is interested in listening and looking out for wildlife in the beautiful setting of Wellesley Woodlands. \n\n\n\nPlease come dressed for the weather\, and bring binoculars if you have them for enhanced viewing.
