DESCRIPTION:Safari led by qualified Runways End Outdoor Centre instructors and Brimstones (who deliver many of the guided nature walks at Wellesley). Booking fee includes all essential equipment including canoe\, buoyancy aid and paddle\, refreshments and tuition. \nThe trip begins from Runways End Outdoor Centre with a brief introduction from your canoe instructors\, and they will share some canoeing top tips before we set off. \nWe’ll be paddling in shared open canoes along the tranquil stretch of canal running under Claycart Bridge towards Eelmoor Bridge. \nBrimstones will help us spot what nature has to offer along this beautiful stretch of water from birds and plants to insect life. \nWhat to bring: A packed lunch \nWhat to wear: Comfortable\, long sleeves tops and long legged clothing that you don’t mind getting wet. Trainers\, not crocs or sandals. Suitable items for the weather conditions e.g. waterproof jacket or sunhat. \nLocation: The postcode\, GU11 2RE\, sometimes leads you to a road which can no longer access the site. You will need to ensure you are on the A325 travelling Northwards and you’ll see a white sign for Runway’s End Outdoor Centre. Turn left off the dual carriageway. Follow this to the end of the road and you will soon arrive with the centre on your left.
