Family Bug Hunt

Join us at Wellesley Woodlands to discover all about the wonderous world of bugs!

We are going on a bug hunt and invite you to join! Capture insects using our provided sweep nets, pooters and jars, and use your detective skills to learn all about what you have found.

We will have a range of activities for all ages, and will be running until 5pm to allow older kids to attend after school.

If you would like to create your own ‘pooter’ (a fantastic device used to capture small insects), please bring along a clean jar (any size) with a lid and we will show you how to make one!

Please come dressed for the weather- we recommend full length trousers as we will be walking through areas of long grass.
